Atrum Kithara

Every player is different. Let your guitar be unique to you.

What makes a guitar best for you is that you connect with it and make music with it. What makes that connection is different for every person. The way it looks, the way it feels, the way it sounds, or some combination of those things. Each guitar that I make is different and so might appeal to a different person. You might love one and hate another. That is ok with me. Someone else will love it. Some of my work may look similar to other guitars, but I am not trying to copy anyone, I make my uniqe vision of it.

I use quality hardware, hand selected woods, mostly domestic and always responsibly sourced. Currently I have assistance from my five year old daughter who has been helping, learning, and designing. I started building in high school woodshop, no prior knowledge, no books, and definitely no access to internet tutorials. Just a desire to have a guitar that was in my head and made better than anything I could afford to buy at the time. I have since earned a degree from Minnesota State College SE Technical in guitar building and repair, with honors. I am always striving to learn more and make my instruments the best they can be.

We also do basic service and repair.

Maybe you already have a guitar you love or at least it works for you at this time. I can help you keep your guitar playing in optimum playing condition or help you to get it to how you want it. String changes, set-ups, mild customizations... We don't do it all, but what we do, we do well.
